Quade Newborn Portraits

Remember my post about Ali’s maternity session featuring Ali, Austin, and Lyla with Lyla’s unbelievably cute funny images? Well this sweet family grew! 

Welcome Quade! 

You are so loved and I could tell Lyla already adores her new little brother.

Quade was a perfect baby during the newborn shoot. We had him sleeping and posing like the angel he is. I loved the faces he made during his awake headshots and they made me and his parents laugh when we viewed them. Lyla was, once again, making all sorts of faces during the sibling shots and cracking us up! Like sister like brother I guess 😉

As part of the CarolLee Photo experience, we can have a makeup artist come into the studio and pamper mom. This session Michaela Knight came into the studio and did Ali’s hair and makeup while I was photographing Quade in the other room. When Ali joined us for some mom and baby shots, she was glowing! I know moms can feel exhausted and insecure postpartum, and I want them to feel like the confident, strong woman who just brought a new life into this world. Women are powerful as well as nurturing, and I love to showcase that power and sweet bond with your new baby.

Directly following the newborn session (as part of the CLP newborn experience) I treat my clients to lunch while the images are uploading. While Ali was reunited with darling Quade, I took Lyla with me to pick up the lunch order. She charmed me again with her intelligence and delight as we walked across the street to pick up lunch for her family. She makes me want to have a daughter like her someday, just as sweet and funny.
