Where do the sessions take place?

The newborn sessions take place in my newborn studio in Elko, Nevada. Other sessions take place either in my studio or at a location of your choosing. During the Design consultation, we will determine the best place for your portraits.

How far in advance should I book my session?

It is never too early to book your session! It is best to book your newborn session while in your second trimester to make sure you get on the calendar, but don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.

How old should my baby be for a newborn session?

We prefer to do newborn sessions within the first 14 days of life. We can do them later, but those first two weeks are the best to get the sleepy newborn poses you see so much of in my portfolio.

I’m worried about my baby arriving early or late! What should I do?

We completely understand (and expect) that the baby might not arrive on their due date. We try to schedule the session with enough wiggle room that we can keep the date we penciled in. Just in case we can’t keep that date I reserve time in my schedule to make sure we will get your baby in.

Is there an extra fee for family and sibling portraits with my baby?

NO! We believe that those images with family are some of the most treasured portraits from the session. You can always choose to leave those images behind, but you can’t go back in time to capture them. Because we value these portraits so much, we do not charge extra for capturing your connection.

Do you provide maternity clothing?

We have studio gowns available for use in your maternity session, your newborn session, your Mom & Me portraits, headshot sessions, and family portraits.

Do I need to bring props?

We provide high-quality props as part of our full-service experience.

What about the baby acne and scratches on my baby’s face?

Basic skin retouching is complimentary on your portraits.

What areas do you serve?

Most of our clients come from Elko, Nevada; Spring Creek, Nevada; Battle Mountain, Nevada; Carlin, Nevada; and Wells, Nevada. We serve clients from anywhere and we are open to travel anywhere-just ask!

We specialize in newborn and maternity portraits, but we also offer headshot portrait sessions, milestone portrait sessions, children portrait sessions, family portrait sessions, senior portrait sessions, couples portrait sessions, engagement portrait sessions, bridal portrait sessions, equine portrait sessions, and weddings.
