This poor doll did not feel well during our session. She had a lip tie that created tummy aches due to air. As one of my favorite photographers says, “she gave me a run for my money.” haha! Normally once they are wrapped we can breeze through a number of wrapped setups. Ivy kept waking up about once or twice every 1-2 setups. Once we decided to do awake headshots, she fell asleep and we could hardly get her to open her eyes. We did a lot of Christmas setups with this session and we also did a pink flower one that took a surprisingly long amount of time to design. These Christmas newborn images are so stinking and adorable! Even with the tummy aches, we got some gorgeous portraits and it was so hard to narrow them down! I mean, just look at her sweet angel face. Her big sister was such a cutie during this session. She enjoyed handing me things and helping when she could and she even offered me part of her cookie that came with lunch.
