Courtney brought her husband and son to her maternity session. Her adorable son, Huxton, had fallen asleep on the ride out to the ranch so we started the session with just mom. When Huxton woke up he was NOT happy to be awake (like your typical toddler). He wouldn’t even take candy out of my hand, so we took him over to meet my horses. When we got there I asked if he wanted to see the horses and he immediately jumped into my arms and was so happy for the rest of the session. I brought one of my horses, Belle, with me and I would have her stand behind me to get Huxton to look towards the camera. It worked like a charm!

The sunset that night was stunning and made a perfect end to the session. I love that I get to work with such wonderful people!
