Kaitlyn Maternity Portraits

I made a deal with Farnes that I would only photograph on the wedding day (Saturday) and on Monday. So I packed Monday with driving to locations and sessions. We did 4 different sessions and covered well over 100 miles. Thank goodness for midnight sun in Alaska!😉 Kaitlyn was the model for the first maternity portrait session I did in Alaska. She came with her husband and adorable son. Her son played with his truck and with Dad while Mom was being photographed. We went up into the mountains of Hatcher Pass, so it was cold and snowy. Off of the paths, the snow was about knee-deep. We were able to get some stunning shots just in the parking lot though! We shot with the gorgeous Hatcher Pass Cabins in the background then shot with the snow and mountains in other backgrounds. The dirty snow was tough to navigate, but we were able to get gorgeous images despite it. We stopped at another location as we drove down the mountain.
