Family at the Salt Flats | Elko Photographer

I have wanted to shoot at the Salt Flats for a long time, so I was stoked when Charity chose the Salt Flats for her family shoot. I drive by the Salt Flats often, but had only been on them once before (to do a little location scouting before this shoot). In most places the salt is hard - almost like cement. It is definitely bright with all the white reflecting back into your eyes. 

Both grandmas came to the session and we all had so much fun playing together and capturing these moments with my lights and camera. The girls brought bikes/ripsticks and played on those during our breaks and after the session. This whole family had such fun personalities and I loved capturing their relationships. They are so sweet, I loved shooting with them and I seriously cannot wait to see the gorgeous artwork from this session!
