Ali Maternity at Lamoille Grove

I recently worked with the most adorable family during a maternity portrait session. Ali and Austin brought their sweet Lyla with them for their last family portraits as a family of three. I fell in love with their whole family. I let Lyla help me with my lights and cameras and she was the cutest little assistant I’ve ever had! When we started taking pictures and asked her to smile, she would put her hand on her neck like she was choking while giving us one of those fake smiles. She had us all cracking up and those are some of our favorite images from the session. At the end of the session, we let her play in the creek. I got down into the creek with her and we captured some stunning images!

THIS is why I love my job! When we allow the children to have fun, it helps to foster a creative and authentic environment where kids can be themselves. They can laugh, be silly, have fun, giggle, and remind us how to find joy in life. While they are having fun, I capture the moment so that you will always remember their personality quirks during this precious time.
